Eagle Technology GIS Summer Intern Programme
Eagle Technology’s GIS Summer Intern Programme offers a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in GIS while working full-time over the summer. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will be part of a dynamic team where you’ll learn from motivated professionals and work on exciting projects that enhance your skills and understanding of the spatial industry.
Programme Duration: 10 weeks, starting mid-November and concluding mid-February, with a break over Christmas and New Year’s.
Location: The GIS Summer Intern Programme can be completed from the Eagle Technology Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch office

Programme Structure

Eligibility Criteria
- Degree Requirements: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a tertiary education programme, ideally with a focus on GIS, geography, computer science, or related fields.
- Work Rights: Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa that allows full-time work during the internship period.

- A keen interest in GIS and spatial technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to data analysis and visualisation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
